My love of honest food started at an early age, working alongside my mother in a professional kitchen in Polegate at 14 years old, paid just £2 per hour back in the day, it certainly wasn't the longing for riches that drove my passion for food!
At 20 I was in charge of a team of 9 chefs in a new start up restaurant in Brighton, I then went on to spent an incredible few years as 2nd chef at The George & Dragon in Spellhurst, working with ethically sourced, free to roam and locally sourced organic produce, and where we received a 'Bib Gourmand'. I then started my freelance career, as a lead chef for high profile events such as; Private dining at Cheltenham Gold Cup, The London Olympics, The Brit Awards, Guards Polo at Windsor, where I had the opportunity to cook for Her Majesty the Queen.
I now live in Hassock with my wife and two children; Ella, 5 and Stanley, 8, and run my freelance career across the South of the UK through
pop up events and private dining.
